Matthew presents for the first time to the ALSD International Conference to give the Annual State of the Industry presentation, during which he will highlight the ever-evolving stadium and arena facility industry, focusing on the latest trends, developments, growth, successes, and performance data of venues across the world.
Matthew is the lead project manager under founder and CEO Rob Hunden of Hunden Strategic Partners, a Chicago-based real estate development advisory firm. He has been with the firm nearly three years and provided market and financial feasibility and demand and financial impact analyses for 80+ projects covering several professional and minor league stadiums and arenas, mixed-use districts, and hotels around North America.
Mr. Avila spearheaded the firm’s research and data gathering to update the stadium and arena database and has played a key role under Rob Hunden in the management of the firm’s top projects. He received his bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and has a passion for creating places where people want to live, work and play.
