Rak Kalidas is Commercial Director for Levy UK + Ireland. He oversees the strategic design and implementation of commercial projects across the Levy portfolio of stadia, arenas, and conference and exhibition events venues.
Rak works with the Levy team to design bespoke, industry-leading business strategies for some of the UK’s most significant events hospitality venues. As part of his role, Rak also has strategic oversight of design, marketing, technology and innovation channels and supports with the mobilisation and operational delivery of projects within Levy venues.
In addition to his role with Levy, Rak headed up the Diversity and Inclusion agenda for the wider Compass Group UK&I and now chairs the Compass Ethnicity Network. He also sits on the Levy UK&I Steering Board for Inclusion with the aims of promoting cultural diversity in the workplace.
Prior to joining Levy UK&I, Rak spent 5 years as Operations Director involved in high profile events in the UK, which included the London 2012 Olympics and the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
